Do theatrical contact lenses glow in the dark?
Question: There's a school dance coming up and the theme is glow in the dark. Everytime I search FX contacts, theatrical lenses pop up as well. Are they glow in the dark as well?
Answer: Yes you can buy glow in the dark contact lenses. Here's a link where you can see some:

But really investigate this, cheap theatrical lenses can cause damage to your eyes, so its important to research it and spend the money for a good pair.

How well is the visibility through theatrical contact lenses?
Question: I just got contact lenses and wanted to get theatrical ones just to mess around with and scare some people. I want to know how well you are able to see through the lenses. Is it like looking through regular contacts?
Answer: I bought a pair of color contact lenses before and have had no problems at all seeing through the lens. It's because most contact lenses have an open hole through the center to let your entire pupil see-through. If you're talking about theatrical lenses where the color actually goes on top of the pupil… each lenses color is dyed with a translucent color, therefore it will not be completely opaque. You might have a tinted vision, somewhat like sunglasses.. but you will still be able to see. In case you're wondering where I got my lenses, try http://www.qqcontacts.com .. i think it's a great site to get extra-wide yearly cosmetic color contacts (like the girls in anime shows).. too bad they don't have the theatrical lenses you're talking about though;)

Can you wear theatrical contact lenses if you have astigmatism?
Question: I want to buy some theatrical contact lenses but I've heard if you have astigmatism that it'll just irritate your eyes and these contacts are not cheap so I don't want to start buying them if I can't even wear them.
Answer: yes you can if you go get fitted and they are in your RX strength
