The lenses that can correct astigmatism are called Toric lenses and are available both as daily lenses, which are thrown away after a days usage and monthly lenses, which are removed and cleaned with a solution and put in a storage container over night. These lenses have more parameters then ordinary lenses. Beside power, bc and diameter they also have the parameters cylinder and axis.
